Pre-launch draft · 11 October 2026
1. Information you provide
When released, CalsNet may allow you to provide account details, fitness goals, body measurements, dietary preferences, training experience, available equipment, food and activity logs, meal photos, and messages to your AI coach. Some of this information may be sensitive health-related information. The final policy will identify the information actually collected, which fields are required, and the permissions requested. Please avoid sharing information about other people or unnecessary sensitive details in photos and messages.
2. How we use information
The intended purposes are to provide and personalise fitness and nutrition guidance, estimate meal nutrition, generate training programmes, show progress, respond to questions, and support reliable and secure operation. The released app’s actual purposes, applicable legal bases, consent requirements for sensitive information, and any analytics or communications will be explained in the final policy. This draft does not authorise additional uses or establish a current data-processing practice.
3. Photos and AI
Meal photos and relevant coaching information may be sent to AI service providers to generate nutrition estimates or coaching responses. Photos can include information beyond the meal; avoid including faces, documents or other private content. AI estimates and responses can be inaccurate and are not medical advice. Before release, the final policy will explain which providers process this information, whether photo metadata is removed, how long inputs and outputs are kept, and whether any information is used for model training. Those arrangements are not yet finalised.
4. Connected health services
Any connection to a health or activity service will be optional and subject to the permissions you grant. If supported at launch, the app will identify the service, the data types requested, the purposes for accessing them, and how to disconnect. Revoking permission stops future access but may not remove previously imported information; deletion arrangements will be explained before release. This draft does not claim that any particular health integration is available.
5. Storage and service providers
CalsNet may use service providers for hosting, authentication, storage, AI processing and operational support. The final policy will identify the relevant providers or provider categories, processing locations, access controls and contractual protections. If information is transferred internationally, the applicable transfer mechanisms and safeguards will be explained. Provider selection, storage regions and any other recipients are pending finalisation; this draft makes no claim about current app infrastructure.
6. Retention and deletion
The intended approach is to keep personal information only for the purposes for which it is collected and for applicable legal obligations. Specific retention periods or criteria for account information, photos, AI conversations, logs and backups will be set before release. The final policy will explain how to request account or information deletion, how long requests take, and any limited exceptions or backup delays. No deletion deadline or in-app deletion process is promised by this draft.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a data protection authority. Optional permissions should remain under your control; turning them off may limit related functionality. Before release, CalsNet will publish a verified contact method and the process for making requests, including any necessary identity checks.
8. Security
CalsNet intends to use technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information it handles. The measures used in the released service will be verified before the final policy is published. No online service or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Avoid sending passwords or other unnecessary confidential information to the coach, and protect access to your device and account.
9. Children and medical use
CalsNet is intended to offer general fitness and nutrition support, not diagnosis, treatment, emergency assistance or a replacement for a qualified professional. The minimum user age, age-verification approach and any requirements relating to minors will be confirmed before launch. Do not rely on AI guidance for medical conditions, injuries, pregnancy, eating disorders or other situations requiring professional advice. Consult a qualified health professional where appropriate.
10. Policy updates and contact
This draft will be replaced with a final policy before the mobile app is released. The final version will include the operating business’s legal name, address, privacy contact details, effective date, applicable jurisdictions and how users will be informed about material changes. Business and contact details are pending finalisation; no contact address is provided in this draft. The final policy must reflect the actual service and receive appropriate legal review.
